About Brady L. Nickerson

Baseball was Brady’s Passion

Which is why we aim to keep America’s favorite pass time alive. When you heard Brady’s name baseball may have just meant the same thing. Brady was a beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, uncle, and friend. When he wasn’t running bases he was being a big brother to his best friend and little brother Trenton.

Brady played sports year-round. Once he was able to play baseball year-round through the Sluggers U baseball program all bets were off. He and his family traveled all of Maine and the east coast playing in games and tournaments. Brady also played Little League his whole life and on the Glenburn Chargers Baseball Team (as well as other school sports). He was the biggest Red Sox fan out there.

Brady Nickerson was diagnosed with pediatric Osteosarcoma on April 27th, 2019. He fought hard. The cancer was incredibly aggressive and Brady went through many treatments. He fought incredibly hard. Brady passed away from Osteosarcoma on May 26th, 2019. His funeral was held at the Hermon Baptist Church with a large procession to the Lakeview Cemetary where Brady was laid to rest. His Sluggers baseball team served as the pallbearers.

Every time you see a butterfly outside we know that is when Brady is hitting another home run.

Look for Brady’s star in the constellation of Orion.
